The summer is passing by fast – and I’ve only been on the lake a few times this season! My wife and I spent some time today with some friends on their boat (you know the kind of friends I’m talking about – the BEST friends) and we took off from Eagle Rock Marina. The changes to that marina are pretty impressive, and if you haven’t stopped in to check out the new store, you’re missing out! Kudos to MariCorp US on the great job they’re doing out there!
After piling in the boat, we headed off towards Big M Marina to get a bite over at the Dock-N-Eat. Even though we left late in the day, most of the courtesy slips were filled, but we found a spot. A few sandwiches and glasses of tea later, we were ready to head home. I got to meet Andy and Bob Stewart, and agreed to fly my Mavic and take some photos for the marina. I’ll be posting those as soon as I get them processed.
So, what’s the point of this post? You can never, ever, spend too much time on the water when you’re with family and friends. I know, its sounds trite and cliched, but there’s a lot of truth to it. Try it, and prove me wrong!
